About De Gijzel Vaste Planten
A growing Dutch perennial nursery with experience in the sector and a clear way of working.
Who we are
De Gijzel Vaste Planten is a professional perennial nursery in Helvoirt, in the province of North Brabant in the Netherlands. We grow a broad range of perennials, ornamental grasses, herbs and ferns in P9 for the professional market.
With around 400 varieties of our own and a network of trusted Dutch growers, we supply plant wholesalers, traders, importers, exporters, garden centre suppliers and landscaping companies in the Netherlands and across Europe.
A young company with experience in the sector
De Gijzel Vaste Planten started in 2024 on an existing nursery site in Helvoirt. The company name is young, but it is built on years of experience in the perennial sector, in both growing and purchasing.
That experience on both sides of the trade shapes how we work today: reliable information, short communication lines and attention to quality and a fair price-quality ratio.
How we work
- Short communication lines
- Personal contact
- Clear agreements
- Fast communication
- Reliable information
- Quality control before dispatch
- Long-term relationships with professional customers
For us, a good working relationship is more than delivering plants. You should be able to rely on the information you receive from us, know what is available and get a quick answer when you need one.
That is why we keep our stock figures up to date, communicate clearly about the quality and availability of batches and think along practically about orders and transport.
“We would rather promise a little less and deliver on it than the other way round.”
Building long-term relationships
De Gijzel Vaste Planten is developing steadily. We invest in our production, broaden our assortment and work on reliable availability throughout the season.
We do not aim to be as big as possible. We want to grow in a way that keeps quality, overview and personal contact intact.
Our ambition is to be a regular, reliable supplier of P9 perennials for professional customers in the Netherlands and across Europe, one you can build on in the long term.
We are happy to discuss how we can work together. You are also welcome to visit our nursery in Helvoirt.
